After taking the exam in December, the results are in! It was actually in last week on 1/30 but due to an overwhelming feeling of relief, I let myself loiter around with excuses such as classes starting, endless watching of Ama Chan drama (Nounen Rena and Koizumi Kyoko are so cute on two ends of a spectrum! I am not going to digress), and hiding from the cold weather.
Anyway! I passed! Our classmates and I worked very diligently, every Monday evening after work, usually from 7pm to 10pm, we would study. I think nothing beats collaborative work face to face, we learned so much from each other through discussions and disagreeing. It was tough when we tried to tackle some of JLPT N4 questions since they are more analytical whereas JLPT N5 is definitely more straight forward. When we found out we passed, it was such a moving moment because it was 30% luck and 70% hard work.
Test score is nowhere as impressive as my friend’s friend who scored 180/180 but 86.66% is good by my standards! Yay!
We are going to prepare for JLPT N4, the next level. Gambarimasu!
