Since I am working today, I might not be able to post about today’s event so I am posting at 3 AM!
We’re having retro game night; super smash brothers on the gamecube and n64, if you are gamers, you have probably heard of the game. It’s a really fun game; you can have up to four players. I think even if you don’t know how to play (I am a total amateur in this game), just smashing the buttons and seeing how you can hurt your opponents is pretty cool. Please don’t tell the host that because I don’t want to be the reason for broken controllers. Super smash brothers is a really popular game by Nintendo; in fact, Nintendo had been teasing fans about future release of a new super smash brother on the new game console WII U on youtube.
Yu-gi-oh cards is the Japanese equivalent of Magic cards in terms of strategic gameplay and popularity. Its popularity has not waned since it came out in 1999. If you’re like me and have not a clue what it is about, it would be nice to go to the event and learn about it. Our host for the night, artist Christopher Hong would patiently explain it!
